The visitor center Palacio del Acebrón is an old palace-house, built in the second half of the twentieth century Subsequently has been adequate for the dissemination and knowledge of the ethnographic heritage of the Doñana National Park. The Doñana exposure and the man gives the visitor the possibility to know various aspects and peculiarities of the relationship of the locals with their natural environment. Are shown from as were their huts or houses, built up from elements of the plant environment, up to the hierarchical organization of the family; it is possible to go deeper into the harsh life in the marshes and the traditional crafts that were developing in it such as hunting, fishing and livestock. The show also is the current evolution of other uses such as the planting of strawberries, tourism or hospitality. Of course, don't forget deep-rooted traditions such as the Out of mares or the world-famous Romeria del Rocio. The Palacio del Acebrón is located in a valuable environment of the Doñana National Park, the middle stretch-under the arroyo de La Rocina. From here starts a path that runs through part of this river of water and goes into a spectacular gallery forest in very well preserved.
